The WaterRower Beechwood Rowing Machine is made from solid beechwood, hand-polished for consistent color and durability. Each rowing machine is hand-oiled with Danish oil, which gives each machine a beautiful color and preserves the warmth of the wood. The machines are made from wood, with all its wonderful engineering properties.
Most importantly, it can absorb the sound and vibration emitted by the machine, thus enhancing the quiet and smooth operation of the WaterRower.
Beech, like all the wood used in WaterRower rowing machines, is a premium quality hardwood with an incredible longevity. With ecological principles in mind, all wood used is sourced from sustainable forestry, where the forest growth rate is 229% higher than the harvest rate. Cherry wood may darken over time when exposed to sunlight.

The WaterRower S4 Beechwood models are equipped with the S4 monitor , from which they get their name, and which you can add:
- With the Commodule system, which can be used with WaterRower Connect, CITYROW Go and the Kinomap-APP or
- With SmartRow accessory, which allows you to use the SmartRow app, with additional Strava connection.
A heart rate monitor can be connected to both options. For this, we recommend the Polar H10 heart rate monitor belt, which you can find in our webshop along with accessories.
